Quinn & Friends

I enjoyed putting together this little photo session with Quinn and his friends, the brother and sister team - Matthew and Makayla!  It's always non-stop action when these three hang out together!  All three are talent models/actors with Cast Images Talent Agency - they are super adorable kids indeed!!

The Perfect Teenager!

Please meet Israel!  I was one lucky photographer when Israel's Mom asked me to take pictures of her son.  Israel is such a breath of fresh air!  He was kind, polite, and respectful.  He had a great sense of humor and didn't mind me dragging my 7 year old son, Quinn, along with me to be my assistant (Quinn wouldn't let me leave the house without him)!  Quinn and Israel got along fantastic!!  Israel treated Quinn like a little brother, and Quinn really looked up to Israel.  It's so hard for me to imagine, but when Quinn gets to be 14 years old, I hope he is just like Israel.  Mom - kudos to you and hubby for raising such a  wonderful young man, and thank you for allowing me to capture these Special Moments for you!!

The Lovely Ladies

These are pictures of the lovely ladies I get to work with every day!  One of our co-workers is retiring in med-December after 27 years of service!  We decided to get together and take pictures, and present her with a collage of all of us together!  If you know who I am talking about, this is a top secret project, so please don't spill the beans!!

Fall

The leaves are finally beginning to change colors and are softly falling to the ground.  I love the changing of the leaves and Quinn delights in playing in them!  Fall begins the magical time of year when anticipation of the upcoming holidays is on everyone's mind.  This year, I am going to try not to get swept up into the rush of the holidays, but rather enjoy every moment of magic this time of year brings, especially in the eyes and hearts of our children.  I'm looking forward to taking many more pictures before this year ends!

LOVE

Love my Quinn to pieces.  The holidays are fast approaching which means another year is coming to an end.  Bittersweet indeed.  I am sad to see this year leave us, but excited to see what's in store for us in 2013!

Fall Pumpkins

Fall is finally here which means cooler weather, beautiful fall colors, and a favorite family tradition - going to The Pumpkin Farm to pick the perfect pumpkin!  Happy Fall!!

Soccer and a Halloween Costume

Saturday is soccer day at our local Park and Recreation District and Quinn absolutely loves it!  He runs around the soccer field with the biggest smile on his face, enjoying running around with the other kids, dribbling balls, throwing a ball into play, and taking turns playing goalie.  Today was an extra special Saturday because after soccer, we took him to pick out his Halloween costume.  This is the first year I allowed him to choose what he wanted to be.  He is 7 yrs. old now, and gone are the days when he was perfectly happy wearing the lion costume, the dragon costume, and the clown costume, the cute and cuddly costumes.  This year I saw the sparkle in his eye when he found "the perfect" Star Wars "bad guy" costume.  He looked up at me and said he wanted to be something scary this year and could he please be a Star Wars guy.  How could I resist his request.  I did't intervene.  I gave him his independence, let him make his choice, and he was one very happy little boy!
